Editorial to Special Issue “Remote Sensing Data Compression”

چکیده
A huge amount of remote sensing data is acquired each day, which transferred to image processing centers and/or customers. Due different limitations, compression has be applied on-board on-the-ground. This Special Issue collects 15 papers dealing with compression, introducing solutions for both lossless and lossy analyzing the impact on processes, investigating suitability neural networks researching low complexity hardware software approaches deliver competitive coding performance.
